On the occasion of the exhibition Fashion & Interiors. A Gendered Affair., which explores the relationship between fashion and interior design from a gender perspective, MoMu Friends and MoMu Circle members are invited to an exclusive visit of Villa Bloemenwerf in Uccle on Saturday, 17 May 2025.
The first home of Maria Sèthe and Henry van de Velde is not open to the public. On this unique occasion, Priska Schmückle von Minckwitz (Fonds Henry van de Velde) will give a guided tour of the house.
Villa Bloemenwerf is a house intended for family life, creative reflection, to work and to exhibit work. From a desire for harmony, architecture, furniture, decoration, clothing and accessories were coordinated to create a total work of art.
