Children's workshop: Let's clash together!

Today, we dive into the world of punk & the Ballet Russes! No idea what to expect, but very curious? Then be sure to join this unique workshop.

Get acquainted with the Punk Special Collection and the Ballet Russes Special Collection from the FATE® Fashion And Textiles Education Archive: two unique collections that can only be admired at MoMu during the month of March. So, make sure you don't miss this opportunity.

First, we will learn more about these two styles. For this, we will go to the MoMu Library where we can admire and study various garments. We will make sketches, take notes, ask questions, and learn more about these clothing styles so that we can work like real designers to the music of punk and the Ballet Russes. We will start with a white shirt and clash the two styles together into one piece. For this, we will use various techniques and materials such as safety pins, chains, felt, textiles, paint, etc.

Are you a fan of punk or do you prefer the Ballet Russes? Your design will tell. As a finale, we will wear our creations and move to the hard tones of punk or the soft tones of the Ballet Russes.
